Brigantia: Queen of the Living Armour is the first work in our Divine Armour series—a celebration of feminine sovereignty, sacred protection and the extraordinary strength women build around themselves throughout their lives.

Brigantia stands crowned among ancient ruins, flowing water and new growth: warrior, queen and goddess, yet entirely alive within her power. Her rose-gold armour is intricate rather than impenetrable. It protects without imprisoning her, following the form of her body while leaving deliberate spaces through which light, feeling and beauty may still enter.

These openings are not weaknesses. They represent the places where life has touched us—the tenderness we preserve, the wounds we have survived and the parts of ourselves we refuse to seal away. True strength is not the absence of vulnerability. It is the courage to remain open while knowing exactly what deserves protection.

Inspired by the many-named divine feminine lineage of Brigantia, Brigid & Bridie this artwork reaches back toward the sovereign goddess: protector of land and people, keeper of sacred fire, source of healing waters and embodiment of courageous feminine power.

Her armour is both boundary and adornment. It is forged from experience, intuition, self-respect and love. It reminds us that femininity does not have to become hard in order to become powerful—and that beauty itself can be a form of resistance.

Created for every woman who has rebuilt herself, guarded her flame and continued to walk through the world with her heart still visible.
