The Pilgrimage Story

Every House of Bridie creation begins long before it is handcrafted in our Guernsey studio.

Our journey led us on pilgrimage to some of the most sacred places connected with Brigid, including St Brigid's Holy Wells in Kildare, where her presence has been honoured for centuries, and the White Spring in Glastonbury, whose living waters have drawn pilgrims seeking healing and spiritual renewal for generations.

During these pilgrimages we collected sacred waters with gratitude and reverence. These blessed waters now form part of our Rose Goddess Altar Essence, allowing every set to carry a genuine connection to these sacred places.

The Flame of Brigid Ritual Oil honours Brigid's eternal flame through its warm blend of sweet orange, cedarwood and myrrh, while the Rose Goddess Altar Essence honours the sacred wells. Together they represent the balance of fire and water that lies at the heart of Brigid's wisdom.
