Meet Aisling, Brigid’s Keeper of Hope & Transformation — a one-of-a-kind handmade Goddess Brigid figure created as the heart of a complete devotional altar set.

Surrounded by leaves, butterflies and rich green tones, Aisling represents growth, renewal and the courage to move through periods of change. She cradles a small crystal-filled vial and a warm carnelian stone, bringing together the energies of transformation, earth and Brigid’s sacred flame.

Her altar set brings together two of Brigid’s most enduring elements: sacred water and sacred fire. Alongside Aisling you will receive a House of Bridie’s Goddess Altar Essence, containing sacred waters gathered on pilgrimage, together with an Eternal Flame taper carrying the story of the flame tended at Solas Bhríde in Kildare.

A small crystal votive candle completes the set, creating a beautiful personal altar for moments of hope, transition, reflection and new beginnings.

The Pilgrimage Story

At the heart of this set are Brigid’s water and Brigid’s flame.

The sacred waters used by House of Bridie are personally collected during our pilgrimages to places associated with Brigid, including her sacred landscape in Kildare, Ireland, and the ancient springs of Glastonbury.

The Eternal Flame taper carries another part of that pilgrimage story.

At Solas Bhríde in Kildare, Brigid’s flame continues to be tended in the modern tradition inspired by the ancient perpetual flame associated with Brigid and her community. House of Bridie brought that flame home to Guernsey, where it became part of our own devotional practice and the story behind our Eternal Flame candles.

Together, water and flame represent two of the great strands running through Brigid’s story — healing and inspiration, sanctuary and transformation, the well and the hearth.

Aisling was created to bring those elements together in one small sacred space.

As each Aisling figurien is individually handmade and her crystals are natural, small variations make every set unique.

How to use

Place Aisling at the centre of your altar or sacred space as a symbol of hope, transformation and new beginnings.

Use the Rose Goddess Altar Essence to anoint or bless your altar and sacred objects, connecting your space with the waters gathered on pilgrimage.

The Eternal Flame taper can be lit intentionally as a symbolic connection to Brigid’s flame. You may then use its flame to light the accompanying votive candle, allowing your own flame to continue within your sacred space.

Aisling can also simply be kept nearby during periods of change — as a visual reminder that transformation is not only about what is ending, but what is beginning to grow.

Hand-sculpted polimer clay with hand-applied decorative details, crystal embellishments, botanical-inspired leaves and charms. Includes a natural carnelian stone and a corked glass vial containing assorted natural crystal chips.

Rose Goddess Altar Essence:

Created with sacred waters personally gathered during House of Bridie pilgrimages, including waters associated with Brigid in Kildare and the sacred springs of Glastonbury.

Crystal Votive Candle:

Candle presented in a small glass vessel and finished with natural rose quartz and amethyst crystal pieces.

Eternal Flame Taper:

Taper candle individually finished with natural twine, handwritten tag and decorative clover charm.

Aisling is a decorative spiritual and altar piece and should be handled with care. Small crystals, charms, glass and decorative components may present a choking hazard; keep away from young children and pets.

The rose goddess Altar Essence is for altar and ritual use only. Do not ingest or apply to the skin.

Always remove or keep crystals and decorative materials safely away from a candle flame. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface and keep away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials.

Allow the glass votive holder to cool fully before handling.
