The Pilgrimage Story

Every House of Bridie creation begins with a journey.

During our pilgrimages to the sacred landscapes of Glastonbury and Kildare, we gathered blessed waters from the White Spring, the Chalice Well and the ancient Sacred Wells of Brigid. These precious waters are lovingly blended into every bottle of our complimentary Rose Goddess Altar Essence, creating a beautiful companion for your personal altar, meditation space or daily spiritual practice.

The inspiration for The Bridie Swan Bracelet™ came during one of those same pilgrimages, as we travelled through the beautiful city of Wells in Somerset.

While exploring the magnificent medieval cathedral and the historic Bishop's Palace, we spent time beside the peaceful moat, where the resident swans were caring for their young cygnets. We were fortunate enough to feed them, and they seemed to delight in our presence, gliding gracefully across the water, stretching their wings and almost performing for us. It became one of those unforgettable moments that quietly stays with you long after a pilgrimage has ended.

Swans have long been sacred to the Goddess Brigid, symbolising grace, love, devotion and the soul's journey between worlds. Experiencing their beauty so closely in Wells, a city where the swan is deeply cherished as a local emblem, felt like a gentle reminder of Brigid's enduring presence and inspiration.

That magical encounter became the heart of this bracelet.
