The Great Release — Post-Eclipse Goddess Brigid Energy Reading

The Great Release — Post-Eclipse Goddess Brigid Energy Reading

The eclipse has passed, but its energy does not always disappear the moment the sky returns to normal.

For me, the days surrounding this eclipse felt far more intense than I had expected. By the time I sat down to record this message, I no longer felt drawn to pull cards. The reading wanted to come through differently — more quietly, more intuitively, and with a very strong sense that something had already shifted.

This is therefore not a prediction of what the eclipse might bring. It is a reflection on what may already be moving through us now: release, emotional clearing, vivid dreams, changes in direction, and the strange stillness that can follow a period of intensity.

As always, this is a collective intuitive reading. Take what resonates and leave what does not.

The Energy After the Eclipse

The strongest feeling that came through was one of release.

Not necessarily dramatic endings, but the sense that something which has been held tightly for a long time may finally be loosening its grip.

Old emotions can rise unexpectedly around periods of change. Memories may return. Dreams may become unusually vivid. Situations we thought we had already dealt with can briefly come back into focus.

That does not always mean we are moving backwards.

Sometimes something returns simply because we are finally ready to let it go.

The message I kept coming back to was that we do not have to carry every version of ourselves into the next chapter.

Some things were meant to teach us.

Some things were meant to protect us for a time.

And some things simply belong to a cycle that is now ending.

Brigid, Water and Cleansing

Brigid’s presence in this reading felt closely connected with water.

We often think of Brigid first through her sacred flame — creativity, inspiration, courage and transformation — but her holy wells remind us that her symbolism also belongs deeply to cleansing, healing and renewal.

Fire transforms.

Water carries away.

And sometimes we need both.

There may be something particularly powerful now about returning to simple acts of cleansing and grounding: bathing, walking beside water, sitting quietly with a candle, writing down what you are ready to release, or simply allowing yourself a little more silence than usual.

The purpose is not to force a transformation.

It is to create enough space for one to happen.

The 144 Collective

The number 144 had been appearing strongly around this period, and it became part of the message that came through during the reading.

There are many spiritual interpretations attached to this number, but rather than trying to impose one fixed meaning upon it, I found myself thinking about connection.

The idea that many people can be moving through similar periods of questioning, release or awakening without ever meeting one another.

Sometimes we experience something intensely personal and assume we are alone in it.

Then gradually we begin hearing others describe almost the same feeling.

Perhaps the significance is not that everyone is having exactly the same experience.

Perhaps it is simply a reminder that change rarely happens in isolation.

A New Cycle Does Not Always Arrive Loudly

One of the most important messages from this reading was that new beginnings do not always feel exciting at first.

Sometimes they feel empty.

Sometimes there is simply a gap where something used to be.

We can mistake that space for loss when it may actually be possibility.

After a period of emotional intensity, the next step may not be to immediately fill the space with another plan, another goal or another answer.

There can be value in allowing the silence to remain for a little while.

Brigid is a goddess of inspiration, but inspiration itself often arrives after stillness.

The flame does not have to become a wildfire.

Sometimes it begins as one tiny spark.

What Are You Ready to Leave Behind?

If this message has found you at the right moment, perhaps this is the question to sit with:

What am I carrying simply because I have carried it for so long?

Not everything needs a ceremony or a dramatic ending.

Sometimes release is simply deciding that an old story no longer gets to define the next chapter.

And if you do not yet know what comes next, that is okay too.

You do not need the whole path illuminated.

You may only need enough light for the next step.

If you prefer to listen rather than read, you can watch the full intuitive post-eclipse reading here.

I recorded this shortly after the eclipse while the experience was still very fresh, so the video carries some of the immediate reflections that inspired this written piece.

A Closing Reflection

There is something beautiful about the period after a powerful moment.

The sky looks ordinary again.

Daily life resumes.

And yet something within us may feel subtly different.

Perhaps that is where the real transformation begins — not during the dramatic moment itself, but afterwards, when we decide what we are going to carry forward.

May Brigid’s flame illuminate what is ready to begin.

May her waters carry away what is ready to leave.

And may whatever comes next meet you gently.

Blessings,
Riel
